R.J. Irvin is a supernatural thriller author who blends high-concept, adrenaline-fueled suspense with rigorous historical and theological research. Fascinated by the intersection of gripping fiction and the forgotten realities of the ancient world, his work explores the “Divine Council” worldview, ancient Near Eastern history, and the spiritual geography of the unseen realm.
Currently pursuing graduate studies at Liberty University, R.J. dedicates his academic and creative life to stripping away sanitized traditions to reveal the awe-inspiring, often terrifying, cosmic conflict operating just behind the veil of physical reality.
When he isn’t untangling the linguistic roots of ancient Hebrew and Greek texts or plotting his next novel, he can be found enjoying the outdoors, working on DIY projects, and spending time with his family in the mountains of North Georgia.

My Story: The Thriller meets the Theological I write the exact kind of books I want to read. I have always been drawn to the adrenaline and spiritual stakes of authors like Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker, but I also crave the mythic, theological depth found in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.
The Cosmic Mountain Chronicles was born out of a desire to bridge that gap. I wanted to write thrillers that do not just entertain, but actually challenge how we view the spiritual world. The monsters in these pages aren’t just fairy tales; they are rooted in the oldest texts of human history. I write to take readers to the front lines of an ancient cosmic war—a war that started on a mountain and is still raging today.
